Schagha School of Taekwon-Do was founded in 1978 in the city of Beirut. Despite the civil war the activities of this school never stopped, trainings were taking place under shellings and fights.

Instructors from this school as Mr. Louis El Hage -IV- degree black belt opened different clubs in universities (Saint Joseph University of Beirut, Académie Libanaise des Beaux Arts).

Later on, activities of this school spreaded to many clubs in colleges and schools in Beirut such as “Le Collège de la Sagesse”, “ Frères Sacré Coeur” and many others...and classes were also given by Mr. Souheil Saadé -II- degree black belt.

More than 150 Black Belts were graduated from the Schagha School of Taekwon-Do since1978 and many demonstrations were performed in universities and colleges.

The civil war did not give any chance to Schagha School of Taekwon-Do to collaborate and cooperate with I.T.F., but in January 2001, Mr. Gaby Abousleiman was designated by General Choi Hong Hi during the seminar held in Budapest as representative of I.T.F. in Lebanon and was nominated as President of I.T.F. Lebanon.
